SCE pays up to $4,200 toward a new 200-amp panel
For qualifying households the program pays the enrolled contractor directly, so you are not asked for that money. Other qualifying addresses get up to $2,100, about half.
Finest Electric is enrolled in SCE's Charge Ready Home Contractor Network.
Two ways to qualify
One of the two is enough.
Your household
Someone in the household is enrolled in CalFresh (SNAP), CalWorks, Medi-Cal, WIC, SSI, LIHEAP, Head Start, GRID Alternatives, or SCE's Pre-Owned EV program, or household income is under 80% of the area median.
Your address
Many addresses in Long Beach, Compton, Norwalk, South Gate, Bellflower, Paramount, Lynwood, Carson, Wilmington, San Pedro, Pico Rivera, Montebello, Anaheim, and Santa Ana qualify on address alone.
Eligibility is decided by the program administrator.
What you get
- Single-family homes with their own panel.
- Renters qualify with the owner's written approval.
- Panel upgrades done in the last 6 months can still claim.

SCE pays the rebate to us
Rebates are paid by the program to enrolled contractors after the work is inspected, so qualifying households are not asked for that money.
